Your First Belly Dance Class
No need to call ahead or preregister – walk-ins are always accepted. Wear something you feel comfortable moving in and bring a hip scarf if you want.
Please allow yourself ample travel time (we’re a bit tricky to find) and arrive about 15 minutes early to meet your instructor, sign a standard waiver and pay class fees.

Not sure where you belong? It’s always a safe bet to show up for Beginner I and start there.
• Beginner I: Wednesdays 7-8pm
• Beginner II: Wednesdays 8-9pm
• Intermediate I: Tuesdays 8-9pm
• Intermediate II: Tuesdays 7-8pm
• $45 per calendar month, due the first week of the month
• $15 per class

Belly Dance Class Descriptions
Introductory belly dance movements such as stomach rolls, body waves, shimmies, hip ups and downs, snaky movements, and floorwork will be taught at an easy pace. This class is perfect for the brand-new belly dance student. No previous dance experience required.
Advancement to Beginner II is at the discretion of the instructor.
Beginner belly dance moves will be taught at a medium pace and layered steps will be introduced. Students will begin working on fluid transitions between moves, using finger cymbals, dancing with partners and groups, and learning choreography.
Advancement to Intermediate I is at the discretion of the instructor.
Designed for students who have mastered the Beginner I/II material, this class teaches more advanced, layered steps at a faster pace, with occasional use of dance props. Special consideration for advancement will be given to students with prior belly dance experience.
Advancement to Intermediate II is at the discretion of the instructor.
Designed for students who have mastered the Intermediate I material and are ready for more intricate drills, combinations, and choreographies.
